The Germanic-American Institute (GAI) in St Paul is partnering with IARP to host a joint celebration of culture and community on Saturday, July 17 at 1–3 PM.
Kleicha meets Apfelkuchen at the International Café as we promote cultural exchange and understanding through music, dance, and baked goods! Iraqi hospitality requires tea and kleicha, and a German Kaffeeklatch is not complete without Kuchen. Join us as we bring together Iraqi and German culture in a delicious way. This event will feature traditional folk dance performances from the Edelweiss Dancers, as well as music performances from the Ishraqat Sumeria Art Group.
A sampler plate of sweets and your choice of coffee, Iraqi black tea, or water will be available for $5.
